Ring of Truth Trio, Santa Rosa

Santa Rosa-based Ring of Truth Trio, comprising Rory McNamara, Henry Nagle and Roxanne Olive, first came into existence in 2008, worked steadily for about a year, released a cd, So Far So Good in 2009 and then went into semi musical hibernation. Over the next few years, Henry and Rory continued to perform together occasionally with a rotating cast of bass-players and other instrumentalists. The Ring Of Truth Trio appeared whenever they had time away from other projects. In January 2014, Roxanne Oliva joined and work has started on a new recording.

The band plays at Gaia’s Garden – a great place to spend an evening listening to music and sampling some of the wares (menu includes acclaimed vegetarian dishes and organic goodies). Beer and wine and a great sound system and comfortable relaxed atmosphere, no cover charge (request a $5 minimum order per person), and all ages welcome. What’s not to love about that?
