Aoife and Eoghan Scott – House Concert Berkeley

That the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree is an oft-stated truism. Born into the legendary Black Family – (mother, Frances, and her aunt, Mary) Aoife Scott is now making her own way in the music business. Aoife’s work includes prestigious performances with some of Ireland’s finest musicians and international acts including Sharon Shannon, Séamus Begley, Brian Kennedy,  Altan, Cherish the Ladies, Eddi Reader, John Prine, and of course the Black Family.Her brother, Eoghan is a talented songwriter and singer and is called upon frequently for recordings and performances with many of Ireland’s singers and bands. Both are full time members of the Frances Black Band – who also happens to be their mother!  They will also be joined by fiddler Michelle O’Brien
