Set in the kitchen of the Tyrone family on the same day in 1912 that Eugene O’Neill’s masterpiece Long Day’s Journey Into Night takes place, The Second Girl tells the story of the hopes and challenges of the Tyrone family’s Irish servants. Their tale touches on the plight of all immigrants trying to make their way in a new world. Tickets only $25.
Irish-born playwright Ronan Noone will be on hand for this staged reading of his work. In addition to the performance, there will be a separately ticketed reception for him at 6:00 p.m. at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley in Danville. $25.
