sfiiinx is an experimental avant-pop ensemble rooted in art-song, mythology and surrealism. sfiiinx is the music of Irish-American vocalist and composer Síobhra Quinlan. Síobhra will be performing a bespoke solo sfiiinx set at the Pro Arts Gallery & COMMONS on October 11th.
About the Artist
Síobhra Quinlan is an Irish vocalist, composer and producer, specialising in repertoire from baroque to contemporary. Converging her skills, Síobhra founded a chamber music ensemble called sfiiinx with whom she performs her work. Recent sfiiinx performances include MusicTown with Glasshouse at The Chocolate Factory, Thursday Lates at The National Gallery of Ireland, and The Irish Arts & Writer’s Festival at The Carriage House Theatre, Los Gatos, California.
