Robert Emmet Commemoration (Golden Gate Park)

Join the United Irish Societies of San Francisco in commemorating the 100th anniversary of the dedication of Robert Emmet’s statue in the band concourse in the Golden Gate Park. The celebration will include a dramatic reading of his famous speech from the dock along with bag pipers, Irish music and Irish dance, and a stirring performance by the Golden Gate Park Band.
