Musica Pacifica Celtic Tunes, Sonoma

In March, Musica Pacifica turns its attention to the British Isles with Scotch Humour – Baroque and Scottish Traditional Music. Program will include arrangements of lively Celtic tunes from Scotland, Ireland, French Canada, and Cape Breton, alongside English Divisions and art music by such composers as Purcell, Locke and Matteis, and including Purcell’s famous Three Parts Upon a Ground. Joining the ensemble for this program will be acclaimed Celtic fiddler, Laura Risk.
