Irish Marvels Series at the UICC – Ireland’s Curious Connection with Easter

This year we celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the Easter Rising, a crucial time in Ireland’s struggle for independence, but there are a slew of other significant events in Irish history that happened on or near Easter, or that have some connection with Easter. Jo Coffey will list some of these events and do a bit of musing on the curious prominence of Easter in Irish history.
