IIPC Active Retirees Spring Outing

IIPC will take you on a docent led tour of the National Shrine of Saint Francis of Assisi and its beautiful Porziuncola Nuova. You will experience something of the reverence, tranquility and blessings that people find here when they enter the doors. After the tour we will celebrate Mass followed by a delicious lunch at Johnny Foley‘s Irish House.

• 10.00 a.m. Bus leaves from UICC,2700 45th Avenue
• 10.45 a.m. Arrive at The National Shrine of St. Francis
• 11.00 a.m. – 11.45 a.m. Docent lead tour The tour will include both the church and the New Portiuncula chapel
• 12.00 p.m. – 1.00 p.m. Ring and recite the Angelus followed by Mass celebrated by Father John DelaRiva
• 1.30 p.m. – 2.45 p.m. Lunch at Johnny Foley’s
• 3.00 p.m. Bus Departs from Johnny Foley‘s Irish House
• 3.40 p.m. Bus arrives at UICC, 2700 45th Avenue
