Celtic Heart, Summer Concert – Los Gatos

Celtic Heart performs July 13th as part of The Vasona Vibrations Concert Series (sessions run at Vasona Lake Park, Los Gatos every Saturday June – July 2015)

The band perform a hybrid of traditional and contemporary Irish music blended with American folk music – combining ancient melodies and original songs with a combination of guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, tin whistle and bodhran.

The group has performed with the likes of Hal Roach, and in a “command” performance for the President of Ireland, Mary Robinson. Their songs range from originals to covers of contemporary songwriters such as Jimmy McCarthy, Eric Bogle, and Thom Moore, to Tommy Makem, and even a dash of Irving Berlin thrown in.
