30th Anniversary screening of “And Still We Dance”

“And Still We Dance” is a one-hour documentary by award-winning filmmaker Ashley James about the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival that premiered in the 1986 San Francisco International Film Festival. The film features interviews, backstage shots, and performance clips featuring Balle-Saba Traditional West African Dance Company, Chinese Folk Dance Association, Cruz Luna (Flamenco), Fua Dia Congo (Africa), Kalilang Kulintang Ensemble (Philippines), Kennelly Irish Dancers, Khadra International Folk Ballet, Los Lupenos de San Jose (Mexico), Rosa Montoya Bailes Flamencos, and the Sun Eagle Southern Singers and Dancers (Native American).
