Celtic Harpist Jesse Autumn with Cellist Barry Phillips – Art Bar & Cafe  Santa Cruz

Hello friends,

I’ll be performing on August 28 with the intention of bringing some beautiful sounds and healing energy to the Tannery Arts Center during this challenging time. I’ll be singing my own songs and playing piano and harp, and the ever-awesome Barry Phillips will be joining me on the cello. We’re really excited to perform together again and add to the collective healing process through our own favorite expression – music.

A few of you already know, but I am making this public now, that I spent the last year suffering through some heavy medical challenges, and spent this summer very sick with what I finally found out was an extreme case of endometriosis. I had to have surgery at the beginning of August, right in the midst of our tragedy with losing Maddy at the Tannery. I wasn’t able to work or perform very much for a few months leading up to my surgery because I was so under the weather, so all donations from this concert will go toward my medical expenses.

Donations at the door – no formal tickets – and it’s sliding scale, but as a suggestion $10-$15 is our usual ticket price for shows. No one will be turned away. Kids welcome and it’s wheelchair accessible.
