Gary Lightbody and Snow Patrol, SF

Gary Lightbody and Snow Patrol have been responsible for several era-defining singles, including ‘Run’, ‘Chocolate’, and ‘Chasing Cars.’ Originally from Northern Ireland, Gary formed Snow Patrol at University in Dundee in 1994. The band released the single ‘Run’ which went to number five in the UK singles chart, and their career success continued with their 4th album, ‘Eyes Open’ released in 2006. Their albums have been nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, BRITS, Grammys and MTV Europe Music Awards and have sold over 14 million copies worldwide. Gary resides in LA and continues work with longtime collaborators including Jacknife Lee, Iain Archer, and Richard Colburn. He has written with One Direction, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.
