Irish Literary & Historical Society presents “Irish Hill, a lost Irish neighborhood”

Sunday May 17th at 5pm; The Irish Literary & HIstorical Society welcomes Local historian Steven Fidel Herraiz who will discuss Irish Hill, a lost Irish neighborhood (c. 1860-1918) near SF’s shipyards. This neighborhood was known for its infamous saloons, bare-knuckled boxing matches, and boarding houses.
