Launch of U22: The Centenary Ulysses Podcast

Host Eric Falci (Professor of English, UC Berkeley) will talk with Catherine Flynn (Irish Studies at UC Berkeley), co-members of the podcast team Rafael Aguilar and Emily Moell, and guests including Irish Ambassador Dan Mulhall and Professor Robert Spoo (University of Tulsa) to celebrate the launch of U22: The Centenary Ulysses Podcast.

This podcast series anticipates Flynn’s reader-friendly Cambridge Centenary Ulysses, forthcoming with Cambridge University Press, 2022. The podcast explores readers’ journeys through Ulysses, and the challenges and the pleasures they met along the way. In each episode, Flynn and the team talk with Joyceans who contributed to the volume and with readers of Ulysses from around the world. The launch will feature clips from the first episode, with Karen R. Lawrence, President of the Huntington Museum, and other guests.
