We Banjo 3 and Skerryvore at Freight & Salvage

Galway, Ireland’s We Banjo 3 find common ground between old world tradition and authentic Americana by plying their banjo, fiddle, guitar and mandolin in an innovation fusion of styles that they dub “Celtgrass.”

Skerryvore create a unique fusion of folk, trad, rock and Americana that represents all the different personalities and upbringing of the 8 band members who hail from different regions of Scotland. A fast and furious mix of tunes, combined with clever songs and more gentle airs, produces great, contemporary, high-energy Scottish music.
