Moonshine Jelly and Erica and Friends at the Octopus Literary Salon in Oakland. Erica and Friends will be joined by Lee Corbie -Wells on violin and vocals.

Erica and Friends play folk music from the British Isles and Ireland. Jigs, reels, ballads and pub songs with vocal harmonies, guitar, violin, accordion and bodhran.

Power-house acoustic duo Moonshine Jelly consists of violinist and vocalist Lee Corbie-Wells, and guitarist and banjo player Kent Kessinger. The band adds contemporary context to ancient folk songs and tunes of Eastern Europe, Celtic countries and the British Isles, and the Americas.

The Octopus Literary Salon is a cafe, bookstore, performance and art space.They support local performers, writers, and creators of all ages.
They serve excellent quiche, salads and sandwiches along with beer, wine, house-made sodas and Taylor Made Farms espresso drinks, coffee and Steep Teas. They sell new and used books, records and tapes.
